Energy Management-
Whether we are redesigning an old system or designing a new one, energy reduction and efficient operation are always a key factor in our designs.  We also perform an energy audits to reduce utility costs.  Our redesign of the air blower drive at MetalTech was an enormous success, saving The Techs over $50,000 per year in electrical costs.
 

Building Inspections-
We have the resources and the skills to inspect Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical systems for industrial or commercial facilities.  As an aside, we are also qualified to perform residential (home) inspections, and our reports are comprehensive, easy to read, and highlight the defects that demand immediate attention.

Insurance Consulting-
We have consulted on losses in the US and Asia.  Insurance companies utilize us as a technical resource to assess damage and to provide recommendations for recovery.  These skills have led us to create a program for the INSURED party called Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery.  This is a pro-active program that enables industries to assess risk, allocate resources, and react immediately to emergencies, whether natural or man-made.

Innovative Design Engineering of America, LLC uses CAESAR II® pipe stress analysis software by COADE.  This powerful software enables us to perform static and dynamic analyses of complex piping systems. We have experience modelling:

• Thermal Growth
• Seismic Loads
• Relief Loads
• Wind Loads

Nozzle loads are available as an output, and can be compared to allowable loads. In cases where allowable nozzle loads are not known, we can determine them using FEA software. Pipe supports are modeled and designed to provide complete piping systems that comply with the applicable piping code.
